I used this, based on a review I used just 1/3 of the packet at a time. I definitely saw a little more and more improvement each time. However I also started using the dove dermacare scalp relief shampoo at the same time, so could be that that helped or maybe a combo of both! It DOES burn but only for the first minute or two.
