Be aware. I decided to just bite the bullet and purchase the ones I felt were overpriced but perform very well. Saw that desertcart has their own brand. I've purchased a lot of desertcart Basic items over the years, and figured I'd give them a shot. They actually solve a problem I didn't really have. They cost about half price from the name brand, and they shave really well. They are not as sharp and smooth as the name brand razors, I don't want to sell them as that- but they feel good, and have minimal skin drag. I do not think I'll get 6 weeks out of each blade, but I'm confident that I can get at least a month. For comfort I rate them a 4, but I'm adding a star for the value proposition. Cheaper and almost as good as the big boys. Solimo is the house brand for Amazon, They are then manufactured by Personna. Personna is owned by Edgewell who own Shick, Personna is their private label group. They have plants based all over the world so it is hard to nail down where one is manufactured. They do however have 3 plants in the USA. **Q: How do these compare to schick 5** A: I have used the Schick 5 as well, but i like these better. I am 10 shaves in and still on the first blade, no tugging or pulling. The edger for side burns has come in very handy as well. I have no complaints about the shave quality. My only complaints are the side with the single blade used for precision trimming is dangerous and doesn't work well for me. I tried using it around my nose and it cut me. It may be OK for edging longer hair on sideburns but stay away from delicate areas. Also, not a fan of the handle. Too many curves and contours going on so every time change shave angles, you have to stop and figure out how to best get a grip on it. And it should be all rubber coated, not a mix of both.
