Wish I had an answer, but at least I'm not THAT guy. **Q: How many RPMs will the motor run before the torque drops in half?** A: The torque is highest at a slow 10 RPM. The torque drops linearly at the RPM increase. It starts to skip pulses because of low torque at about 200 RPM. I had to add a 100 tooth to 36 tooth xml timing pulleys to increase the torque. **Q: Where can I get a gear that works with this 10mm shaft? Most of those I've seen are in standard, not metric units.** A: I've had luck finding pulleys on EBay. I'm not sure about gears but it would be worth a shot if you haven't already looked. Also you could buy something to fit on a 3/8in shaft and drill it out to 10mm. **Q: What is the maximum power output in Watts? I’m sure it’s higher than the 3W they have listed.** A: Hello, The power is calculated as: P = V *I* # of coils active, or equivalently P = I^2*R* # of coils active For instance, if only one coil is active, P=4.2^2*0.9*1 = 15.87 watts If two coils are active, such as when the motor is holding a position, then the power doubles, which comes down to 31.75 watts. This motor provides the rotation. Works ok. Was hoping it would be enough to turn a 6# rotating assembly 90° in around 1 second. it is ok, not ideal. Not like I’d hoped anyway, but then it wasn’t manufactured with my application in mind. The current setup up is direct drive. I may machine myself some pulleys or sprockets and use some tearing or a transmission.
