It’s very economical. My teen daughter loves them. Easy to use, doesn’t irritate sensitive skin. **Q: How do you clean them? And can you bleach them?** A: I wash with soap and water. **Q: Do these exfoliate at all? Or are they basically like a kitchen sponge?** A: Yes, they exfoliate. I bought it on a whim as I wanted something to clean my face with that was hygienic, organic and disposable. I wanted something that would lightly exfoliate my face when I washed it and would be easy to travel with.When I first opened the package, I thought it was a joke and I had gotten stuck with some foolishness. It reminded me of a thin piece of cork. It is thin like a penny, or a dime and it doesn't seem like much. Wet it and it expands in thickness and softens. Add your favorite cleanser and it's the best clean feeling during and after that you can have. I love them.Since they are so thin, they travel well as they can be put in a Ziplock bag in your purse or carry on and they can fit anywhere as they take up next to nothing in space. The good news is that they are disposable and are plant based so they don't interfere with the environment. They are my best great little secrete find.I let my sister try one and she couldn't stop talking about how much she liked it and how it made her skin feel. As she has dry delicate skin. For me this is the only facial cleaning sponge that has not irritated my skin and because it's disposable I can throw it away and I don't have to worry about bacteria build up. I have used to for up to 5 days and as little as one day. I have tried using one up to 7 days but it doesn't seem to exfoliate that much then and it also starts to break down.
