This easy to grow, perennial heirloom grows in mounded clumps & ca be tucked into any small space in the garden near the kitchen. Harvest the greens with mild onion flavor for use on baked potatoes, fish & egg dishes. The pretty purple flowrs attract butterflies & bees.

Review: Received 2 packs of seeds and not one plant grew - I have a whole herb garden going and bought seeds to grow sage and chives. Sage came up fine but the NONE of the chive plants came up after a month. They were nice to replace, however, achieved same results after another month. So now, none of the chive seeds have grown after having tried 2 different packs of seeds.

Unlike so many seeds on Amazon, these actually sprouted quickly and look to be chives and not weeds. I have learned the hard way to only buy seeds from reputable American companies like Hirts or Seeds of Change. If your seed order takes 2 months to ship to you, they are coming from china and will disappoint you.
