I have slides taken with 110 film.** A: If I remember correctly, 110 positive film was mounted in the same size mount as 35mm film. **Q: Is it just individual load or is there a tray so I can load & view more than one slide at a time? Exactly how does it work? What size is the screen?** A: Yes it is individual load. You can only load one photo at a time. There is a tray to catch the photo after you release it that will hold about dozen photos. The screen size is 3x3 inches. The photo magnifying is good and bright. There is a button you press to release each photo after you have finished viewing it but I found this button sticks often and you have to turn the viewer upside down and shake it to release the photo. **Q: Is this good for old slides too?** A: I viewed my father's old slides (taken while serving in Korea) with this device. Sometimes they stick a bit, but overall this device is easy to use and extremely functional. I think that the paper that was used in the old slides expanded with age, which is why they sometimes would get stuck. But I realized that when holding the lever while pushing in another slide would break it free and it came out in the bottom tray. Much easier to use than a projector, and I am very happy with it. **Q: Can the focus be adjusted on this device?** A: No - There's no focus adjustment. But, on the other hand, none is really needed. This is a viewer and not a projector. Basically, just think of this unit as a magnifying glass which is held in place above the slide with a light behind the slide to illuminate it. Just as with a magnifying glass there is no focus, there is no focus needed with this device. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very simple to help review boxes and boxes of 35 mm slides *by on Reviewed in the United States February 25, 2020* I inherited a few thousand 35 mm slides. I need to go through them to see which ones I want to digitally scan. This product is most economical answer I could find and super simple to use. The screen is bigger than I thought, but still on the small side. Some slides I'm reviewing will have to be scanned and enlarged because I couldn't see the details, but that's ok because I'm kind of on a family picture treasure hunt. It came with a USB plug in or you can use your own batteries so it is convenient to power up. The light is bright enough although sometimes I wish it was a tad brighter. Not a big issue, more of a personal preference. You simply drop the slide in the slot in the top and look at it in the viewer. You then push the button on the side to drop it to the lower tray when done. Super easy. Very low tech and easy. A couple of slides git hung up, but barely jiggling it allowed them to drop through. This is a slide viewer and does not seam like it would be good for trying to look at slides and take pictures with a phone to blow them up. Use a product designed for scanning for that kind of project. This is like a big single view window Viewmaster and worth the price for a project like mine where I am trying to go through slides to see which ones I want to scan. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Handy Little Slide Viewer *by on Reviewed in the United States February 15, 2024* I recently sorted old slides from my parents' estate. It takes some time to load each slide manually to view and they do get stuck from time to time, but for what I expected it do, it met expectations and allowed me to view all of my slides economically. The brightness was absolutely sufficient as was the picture quality. Liked the fact that it works with USB or batteries. Pictures came out great. The only minor problem is that some of the slides would get stuck. No damage or anything but it happened more than once, it was released once you pressed the button twice.
