Review: An adult reader - (Side note, I bought this for myself, not for a child. I collect 80s cartoon-related stuff.) Unlike "I Am He-Man!", this book had a story to tell. (He-Man basically copy/pasted the series theme dialogue and then briefly introduced the main characters.) It follows the pilot of the original cartoon series to tell how Adora became She-Ra. The artwork is gorgeous and it was nostalgic to revisit some of my favorite cartoon characters from the 1980s.

(Side note, I bought this for myself, not for a child. I collect 80s cartoon-related stuff.) Unlike "I Am He-Man!", this book had a story to tell. (He-Man basically copy/pasted the series theme dialogue and then briefly introduced the main characters.) It follows the pilot of the original cartoon series to tell how Adora became She-Ra.
