The Sherpa lining is soft and thick, and it actually keeps hands warm even when kids are out for a while in the snow. We’ve used them for skiing, sledding and general playing outside, and hands stayed dry and comfortable. The waterproof outer layer works. After being in snow for a good stretch, the inside was still dry—not damp like cheaper gloves tend to get. Big win is the long cuff design. It goes up over the jacket sleeve, or way inside the jacket which helps keep snow from getting inside (anyone with kids knows how important that is). The elastic + cuff combo keeps them snug without being hard to put on.

Best winter mittens I have ever purchased for my granddaughters. They are warm, waterproof and the cuffs are long enough to keep little hands warm and dry when playing in the snow. These are a must have when living through Wisconsin's winters. P.S. They work great for skiing and snowboarding too!
