I am trying to decide whether to reorder or not.** A: I bought a single Navaris magnetic tool bar and it is white in a black 'holder'. **Q: Anyone use these in a work van ? Are the magnets strong enough to hold tools on the move.** A: I wouldn't use in the van, the magnets do well in static conditions, but wouldn't trust them to keep the tools in place, while on the move. I am assuming your tool box lid is magnetic and that the length of these is what you require. I think for spanner’s , you would probably need a top and bottom bar to keep them very secure. I want to use as extra holding power for drive away awning on a campervan!** A: No the magnet is not removable, as far as I know it’s just a big magnet with brackets, so probably ok as it is ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Magnetic tool strip *by K***M on 27 October 2024* Brilliant, keeps tools neat and tidy strong magnet and sturdy, definitely recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality - fast delivery *by I***T on 10 September 2024* - ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good magnets, heavy duty, but spoilt a tad by a cheap paper strip across the front of the magnets *by D***N on 20 May 2025* These magnetic strips are strong enough for most tools. IGNORE ANY REVIEWS saying these are not strong enough. In the attached pictures I have a 4 pound (1.8 KG) masonry hammer hanging off one of the strips and it's not going anywhere. They may not hold a boat motor but they'll hold pretty much any kind of hand tool you throw at them. That said, I've knocked off a star for using some very thin, cheap, paper like material to cover the magnets behind. When I ordered this I thought it was a single magnetised metal plate, rather than a metal holder containing 11 separate magnets, covered by a paper strip. That paper strip would never hold up to constant use and any grease and oil is going to tarnish it immediately. I'm a tad anal when working on anything and I like things to be not only functionally perfect but also aesthetically perfect and these are not. What's even more annoying is the paper-like strips cannot be removed by simply pulling them off. They require a pair of pliers and a heat gun on full heat. Do that and they come straight off, revealing the 11 consecutive magnets beneath. Once done, silver or black electrical tape (or duct tape) will cover them far more efficiently, have better longevity and is much more easily replaced when it becomes tatty. It also won't be noticeably affected by oil or grease and can be wiped down. I've ordered another three strips as the original 6 are now full with tools and working perfectly. Recommended!
