Review: The publisher doesn't want you to see inside this book - I don't get what's going on with this book at all. The content is top notch - the images are displayed nicely, the print is very good and the paper quality is equally good. But, for some strange reason, the covers are made of cheap and nasty thin card slightly bonded to the first and last page which doesn't allow the book to be opened without force, thus risking spoiling the book. Bearing in mind the exceptional artistic skill of Elvgren and the beauty of his artwork, would ordinary conventional boarded covers have been too much to ask for? As a fan of Elvgren's artwork, I will keep the book but it is such a shame it doesn't actually open properly.

I don't get what's going on with this book at all. The content is top notch - the images are displayed nicely, the print is very good and the paper quality is equally good. But, for some strange reason, the covers are made of cheap and nasty thin card slightly bonded to the first and last page which doesn't allow the book to be opened without force, thus risking spoiling the book.
