This 160-page book is a colourfully-illustrated and informative volume that looks at the wide range of dinosaurs that once inhabited our planet.It is well-illustrated with photographs, diagrams, maps and other illustrations - mainly photo-realistic artwork. It is extremely informative and easy to read. It is intended for younger readers, but older ones (and adults) will also find it interesting and informative. It covers quite a wide range of subjects, as well as individual dinosaur types, and will serve very well an encyclopaedia for children.It is divided into chapters, with a series of two-page sections within each chapter illustrating a particular group of creatures, with a couple of chapters on the wider world of the dinosaurs.The Contents are -P009: The First DinosaursP033: A World of DinosaursP065: The Time of the GiantsP097: A Flowering WorldP129: Change & ExtinctionP155: Glossary & Index

Got this for my 4 year old who is dinosaur mad. Its well above his current age but he is like a sponge regarding dinosaurs. We've already had great fun skimming through and reading small sections at a time. Great book for us to enjoy for years to come.
