They look better on O-36. I have a display layout with O-36 curves and have never had a derailment in over a year. **Q: Has anyone added passengers to the dome car? I was able to do so with the cars that came with the set. Last year, I invested in the Lionel Texas Special and have enjoyed it so much, that I bought the only other Lionel passenger set: The Super Chief. For both sets, I purchased the add-on baggage cars,, and for the Super Chief, the add-on Vista Dome (what's a Chief without a dome?). What I like about the new Lionel passenger sets are (1.) the sounds (just like the more expensive models), (2.) the diaphragms, and (3.) the interiors. No more silhouettes on the windows is definitely a plus. Lack of passengers is simply a reminder of the sad state of passenger rail in the '60s! Although there are two crewmen in the cab (a harking back to featherbedding!).
