As someone else mentioned they need some kind of pad on the bottom to prevent them from scratching floors. I just went with the basic felt pads and added some gorilla glue to make sure they stay on. The stools were super simple to put together. I probably spent 30-45 minutes on the task. They are not super comfortable. But most stools really aren’t and are not typically intended to be sat in for extended periods of time. For us they will be easy seating for kids and extra seating for when we are entertaining. I wanted something slim and low profile to not impede on the walkway, and they fit that perfectly. I also wanted some kind of back because my kids are still young. I think this back will serve that purpose for them, but is essentially useless for an adult. Again not a problem for my needs. Overall they are exactly what we need and I would buy them again.
