Elegant and Subtle . . . Yet sure to grab looks You'll love this elegant floor vase. It's been hand-milled by a skilled artisan from a block of sustainable, orchard mango wood. Standing at an impressive 30" tall and suited to add color and sophistication to any room. Use this vase to energize a blank corner, or to flank a mantle or cabinet or sofa. The wood is simply cut, and works with a variety of decor styles. Our wood is sustainble… and great for the environment. This vase has been carved from mango wood, which is a fast growing tropical and subtropical wood. In Thailand, where this wood comes from, the mango tree only gives fruit off for approximately five years, after which the fruit is no longer up to par, and so the tree must be replaced. We partnered up with great workshops to ensure that the wood we received has come from these orchards, so that forest trees are not being cut down. Please hand-clean with a damp cloth or feather duster. We highly recommend not putting water in the vase, and if so, only for a few days at a time. Review: Better than anticipated - I was looking for a vase that had some height to it as my ceiling is very high. This fit the bill perfectly! Stands tall but is very narrow and fits on my small depth fireplace mantel. I am still trying to figure out the dried flowers to use (currently using hyrdrangeas) but overall I think the vase will work well. I do not use them for live flowers so the fact that they are wood doesn't bother me at all. They don't look like wood by the way. They almost look ceramic from a distance.

I was looking for a vase that had some height to it as my ceiling is very high. This fit the bill perfectly! Stands tall but is very narrow and fits on my small depth fireplace mantel. I am still trying to figure out the dried flowers to use (currently using hyrdrangeas) but overall I think the vase will work well. I do not use them for live flowers so the fact that they are wood doesn't bother me at all. They don't look like wood by the way. They almost look ceramic from a distance.
