**Q: Does it need to be exposed to direct sunlight to work?**
A: No it does not. I have mine located in shade, the sensor setting works great.

**Q: Can you change the rf frequency channels? to either match or be different (if i order more than one of these)?**
A: Each outlet already has a separate frequency. I currently have 2 of these and 3 others from BN-LINK and they all have different remotes.

**Q: Please post a link to the replacement batteries for the remote :-)  the posted cr2032 is not the one in the remotes. It’s like a short AA?**

**Q: Can it be plugged into an extension cord?**
A: Yes.  I had it plugged into a 50 ft extension cord and it worked

I got this outdoor timer for my patio lights, and it works perfectly. It has two outlets, so you can connect two separate chains of lights. Just keep in mind that the outlets aren’t controlled individually—they turn on and off at the same time. There are several useful settings, including dusk-to-dawn and multiple timer options. But the best feature for me is the remote. I was a little nervous about the range, but it works from surprisingly far away, and you don’t even have to point the remote directly at the timer box. That makes it incredibly convenient. One quick tip: you need to pair the remote before using it. The instructions walk you through it, and it literally takes about 10 seconds. Super easy. Overall, an awesome outdoor timer that does exactly what I needed!
