Won't offer much in the way of warmth. My daughter is a regular size 11 year old and is still in size 12 clothing, about to need to move into a 14, so I got the size 14. The jacket is not too tight but is a little snug around the waist. The arms are way too short for her as well. The lining is two different colors, which is strange, but could be on purpose. the faux fur does shed a lot, but since the hood is removable, it doesn't make much difference. I'm really happy with the look and feel of the coat. I wish they had it in bigger sizes!
