I used to carry this great silver folder, but wanted something bigger. First i replaced it with a fixed blade buck woodsman 102. Great USA made knife, but not easy to carry. Also, you have to unsnap the sheath, so you just cant draw it quickly. So then i bought a ka bar mule folder. Super sturdy but a small thumbscrew and stiff opening just didnt work for me. Though the giant blade was great. I found this folder on desertcart and im super impressed. Thick steel, positive locking and very easy to open. Blade is huge and i love the shape. Opens to the size of a full size fixed blade hunter. Only two things would improve it. The belt clip is oriented correctly for me (tip up), but leaves about 3/4" of the handle exposed out of your pocket. Many clips allow the knife to sit deeper. Also the handle side plates are plastic, which seem a little cheap considering how well the rest of the knife is built. I think i will end up buying another because i like this one so much. If you want the security of a big blade, but want something relatively easy to conceal, buy this. UPDATE: I just bought another one, just in case I lose this one. That's how good it is. Review: Below average craftsmanship. - Nice looking knife, and would have been a good purchase if the blade would have been centered and didn't rub on one side of the frame.
