Great snack without the high sugar! Tastes great too!

Edit... 4/12/20... I still stand by my original review, however, must amend the notation about the product faring well in hot weather. I just received my latest of numerous orders of this product. It was 82 degrees and my bars were on my front porch for most of the day. I waited 48 hours before opening the box, and my bars were, and are, a melted, gooey mess. I can’t find anywhere on the Amazon site to file a comment, much less a complaint, about such a thing. Given the current Coronavirus situation, I wouldn’t try to trek to the PO to return them, anyway. Just beware if you order in the hot months. As information, I have ordered directly from the Good Snacks site during hot months (same cost), and their package arrived with a cold pack and well insulated. That has never been the case when ordered through Amazon. Still love the product, though. Original review: I've tried most of the flavors, with lemon being my favorite, followed by peanut butter, chocolate peanut butter, and blueberry... in that order. These protein bars are the best, flavor-wise, that I have tried. And I like the fact that there are no sugar alcohols or soy in the ingredient list. The only problem is that they seriously taste too good! I have to pace myself, as it is very easy to eat two or three in any given day. I'm a repeat buyer and will continue buying! I have also ordered during the sweltering months, and they've sat on my front porch for hours before I could retrieve them. Quality was not sacrificed... just brought them in and let them re-acclimate to the indoor temps before enjoying. Seriously good product!

I love these bars. I used to get the lemon Luna bars but they just weren't keeping me full long enough and had more sugar than I liked. I did a lot of research and finally settled on trying out these bars. My criteria was vegan, low sugar, high protein, high fiber, and not chalky. These bars met every criteria and then some. The lemon flavor is delicious and not overly sweet. The bars are super soft which I wasn't sure I would like compared to the Luna bars I was used to but I now prefer them. Having no soy and a low glycemic index were a plus. They are a bit on the spendy side compared to other bars I was looking at but they keep me full until lunch and I look forward to having one with my coffee every morning so I can handle the slightly higher price.

The lemon and blueberry protein bars are so so good. My favorite is the lemon - I adore the sweet and soft coating and the soft inside. There are some chewy bits of peanut/almond every now and then, but not often. I love the flavor and usually have one for breakfast every morning. I love cookie dough flavor, but was truly disappointed - it was dry and not nearly as flavorful as the lemon and blueberry flavors. I literally took one bite and spit it out, that bad. I will stick to the fruit flavors from now on. If you're vegan, gluten free, or just want a yummy protein bar, try the lemon or blueberry, you will be happy you did!

This bar is substantial with the protein amount, is easy to chew, and is fairly low in sugar. I think it's hard to find a good plant based protein bar that isn't loaded down with sugar. I have trouble with whey based protein...for whatever reason it doesn't sit well in my stomach so I was happy to find a decent amount of protein in this bar. I decided on this flavor because of other reviews I'd read about them tasting like lemon bars. They're pretty close! This is my second box and not my last! The texture is great. You don't have to chew forever and it's more like eating a dessert. I did travel with these and they got smooshed in my backpack but it was a good kind of smooshed. They didn't crumble into dry bits and didn't make a mess while eating them. I bought the chocolate peanut butter flavor after two boxes of lemon, and they're great in texture but milder in flavor. Not disappointed.

I really really like these GOOD! Lemon bars - -and so does my husband. The texture is especially good and flavor is that right combo of a touch of sweet but you still know it's lemon. They're a little more pricey than other brands .. but the pure lemon flavor and the chewy, almost creamy, texture make it worth it. Gotta have variety! Update: Very glad to receive today's shipment after they've been unavailable on our subscription a few months; however was odd the product box was open inside the shipment box. All bars present and accounted for, so probably just poor glue that didn't hold up in the heat. That's the first time I've seen that.

I love the concept of these bars, and they’re tasty, but I was disappointed to see 6 g of sugar per Bar. Love that they are cruelty, free and vegan, but would prefer only natural sugars, not added, for ultimate health benefits.
