**Q: how do you trim the wick someone says you must flatten it how is this done and do you need to do this first time you light it**
A: To maintain an even but you may on occasion need to trim the wick, but this is not essential. You will not need to do this when you first receive the candle.

A: No, in a really well packed box. The candle has a wooden lid. 
We were very impressed with ours .

**Q: How big is this candle please in inches as I keep finding two different sizes for the same price**
A: 10 inches

**Q: What is the chances of this arriving broken if i place a order?**
A: I have ordered a few of these and also received some as gifts and never received a damaged one. Very well packaged.

It's a candle, it's expensive. That said it looks amazing and the wax goes down with the wick. Nothing annoys me more than the wax staying round the edges of the glass or container. Looks like it'll do the 50 hour burn time so not so expensive when you think about it on an hourly rate. Definately recommended.
