Misspellings I decided to buy it anyway. Here's what I think about the two issues: 1. The smell - it does smell when you first open it. It is made of plastic after all. The bathroom I put it in is very small with only an exhaust fan for ventilation. I hung the curtain, ran the fan for an hour or so and then didn't really notice the smell anymore. I apparently talk about it enough where my nephew wanted one so that was a part of his birthday gift and he loves it! It is so easy to clean, and is nice and thick. My only complaint is that when I took it out of the package, it was so tightly pressed and folded to fit in it's container that a part of it was stuck together and created a tiny hole in it when pulled apart. I've always loved clear shower curtains that have big designs on them. We've had panda bears, giraffes, monkeys, when our children were young. But then we graduated to the The World. This is a fun shower curtain that goes with any decor. We've had several over the years that I've always purchased at Target. This time I thought I'd get this one because it was a good price and this newer version has the blue ocean of Antartica at the bottom which really livens it up. This one has a clear background and I really recommend that. I paired it with the Mildew Free PEVA 3 Gauge Shower Liner in Clear and added the Roller Shower Curtain Hooks and Rings in aqua and together they are a combination that can't be beat. It is well made, a good weight, but not too heavy. One thing to note, there is no odor. NONE. I read other reviews that talk about smell, but there is none with this one or the shower liner I bought with it. I especially recommend this and the Roller Shower curtain hooks. They look lovely together.
