Willow Tree hand-carved figures reveal their expression through body gestures only... a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. Since 1999, American artist Susan Lordi has worked in partnership with DEMDACO to produce, market and distribute Willow Tree , her line of carved figurative sculpture. From her studio in Kansas City, Lordi hand carves the original of each figure. This piece is cast from Lordi's original and painted by hand. Enclosed inside each fitted packaging box is a gift-giving card with piece title and sentiment on it. Each piece is intended to be open to interpretation from the viewer. Lovely & simple especially if the rest of your tree is glitzy. desertcart shipped it in like 24 hours. Mom was afraid they’d have non left, it was on her doorstep by 4:00 pm the next day, probably earlier but I was out . Excellent.

This is so gorgeous. My mom ordered it for her tree topper through me. You don’t quite see the gold fleets on the Willow Tree Figurine, but that and the angel’s dancing, really bring this simple figure to life, Easy to place on a tree, stays due to bottomliece, and you just wrap the tree branch around it too hide the bottom. It's a beautiful piece of art. We have it on top of our Easter tree. I wanted something that would express Joy. Only criticism is the description says piece is 11.5" tall. That is only true if you include the tree topper framework. I wish they would specify that in the description (angel plus the tree topper frame is 11.5).
