Isopropyl alcohol or rubbing alcohol is commonly used for cleaning and disinfection. It makes for a fantastic cleaning agent as it is used in hospitals across the world. The medical , electronics , automotive industries ( and more ) rely on isopropyl alcohol to scrub down surfaces (wood, glass, etc.) and machinery as well as to dissolve sticky, lingering residues and contaminants while leaving no remnants. Solvent Isopropanol is used commonly as a solvent as it dissolves stubborn oils/residue without leaving any traces behind.
