It keeps it at a position that gives the video a perfect riders perspective. The installation is very simple. You simple sick on one of the mounting pads, and then you clip the chin mount onto there, after that you just loosen the nobs and move the different points until the angle is right, then you simply tighten the nobs and you are done! The quality of this product is exceptional! It holds up very well against the elements and unexpected.
