L-Theanine, an amino acid (building lock for proteins) I have read that it is also found in green tea. I have been taking one L-Theanine tablet every night for the past 5 weeks. I've found that since taking it, I have been more relaxed and calm without feeling drowsy. I also found that although I didn't sleep any longer the quality of sleep was better because I woke feeling refreshed in the mornings. It is a very good product and I thoroughly recommend it. If anyone is thinking of taking L-Theanine and are on medication for high blood pressure, it would be wise to check with your GP first as taking L-Theanine could cause your blood pressure to go too low. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing product for my son's terrible anxiety and panic attacks. *by M***. on 12 April 2018* My son suffers with terrible anxiety and panic attacks and it got to the stage where, he was vomiting every morning before school, before going to his grandmothers or out for a meal. He would even have them at the weekends as he felt he didn't have enough to occupy his brain and he would start thinking and worrying. He would even have a panic attack and vomit if I mentioned him having anxiety and panic attacks, as it then made him think about it. We have tried many different supplements and herbal therapies over the last 3 years but none have worked. He has also had CBT which worked to a certain extent, but only helped him deal with his panic once it was happening rather than stop it coming on. I had read about L-Theanine but was worried about giving it to him as he was only 11 years old. Eventually in January, after a very bad period of anxiety, I decided we had nothing to loose. He started on 1 tablet a day for a week and then raised it to 2 tablets a day. After 2 weeks he said the worrying thoughts were still there but he didn't feel the panic that usually came with the thoughts. He has continued to improve in ways that I'd never thought we'd see. His anxiety over normal day to day events stopped as did the panic and vomiting. He has now reduced the tablets to 1 a day and I've left it up to him to decide if and when he wants to stop taking them completely. He says that he might think about something that is a bit worrying but he can now ignore it without even trying and without feeling any sense of anxiety or panic. All I can say is that these have, without a doubt, worked amazingly well for my son.
