Are they available?** A: Don’t replace with plastic stakes. The best alternative is to use 1/2” electrical conduit and a coupler. This is a super sturdy alternative that is a pretty cheap fix ($1.10/light) and complements the light nicely. Plus you’ll never have to worry about accidental breakage in the future. **Q: How many lumens?** A: I don’t have the box anymore so can’t say. But I can tell you they aren’t as bright as other solar lights I have had. They were advertised as “bright” but I wouldn’t agree with their description. Even though the glass globe looks clear they seem to give off a more amber light. Hope this helps. **Q: Worth buying?** A: Yes. Not super-bright but very attractive. **Q: Do I need to buy the rechargeable battery charger as well for the 2800 mAh batteries or will they recharge themselves in the solar lights?** A: I did not buy batteies...they seem to recharge wheen the sun is out. we put the light along steps to the house which really enhancees safety plus they add charm to the nighttime appearance. But unsure if the lights will keep upward with that extra weight on top.
