I haven't used it yet on a cooker hood because items must be immersed in it once dilute. I guess you could try mixing it in a bowl and scrubbing away at the cooker hood but I'm sure there is probably a dedicated product for that particular issue. Buy Astonish anyway. It's not expensive and you'll find a use for it no doubt! Then you'll be amazed and use it again! Good luck. **Q: Would this clean an exhaust pipe on a motorcycle** A: I very much doubt it. It's for China and glass. If it's a chrome use a tube of autosol. **Q: Can you clean enamel with this** A: There's no reason why not. The solution disperses grime but doesn't damage ceramic surfaces, so it shouldn't harm an enamel one. **Q: Can you steap stainless steel teaspoons in this?** A: Not sure what you mean by ‘steap’ but great product. Just put a teaspoon amount in each cup, fill with hot water. Leave as long as possible (at least an hour) for perfect results, then rinse with cold water. Wash up as usual. Only negative is the staining soon reappears, but such a simple process to remove again. As a coffee and tea drinker it's great at making sure cups stay clean. I recently purchased it for £1.50 which is a bargain as it's normally £3.I think the main ingredient is something like calcium carbonate? But it's great to clean stubborn stains.
