But I tried it out and the RFID worked for pairing to and opening my safe, so I figured everything was ok.Then today, only 6 weeks after getting it, the Ring fell apart. As you can see from the photos, there was no damage, it didn't get banged or bashed. The face and RF chip just popped out while sitting at the table. Thankfully I found the chip, but I don't think I can trust this to be my key for unlocking the safe... This chip words best with palm-up position. Works every time. The fingerprint reader was sketchy as it is not reliable. Finger must be clean and dry. This was the problem with the first gun safe that I purchased and I sent it back immediately. I think that this is a fault with affordable fingerprint readers. My iPhone 6+ also requires dry fingers.So, I was pleased to find the Gunbox with the chip reader. Only one potential problem: I had to swap with my wedding ring. I have an intelligent wife this time, so no worries. Otherwise, aside for this potential cause for argument, this ring works great for me. I assumed that meant that it was somehow adjustable. I received the ring only to find out it only fits on my pinkie. I contacted company that makes the product and was informed that they only sold size 10 rings to Amazon, so that is what you'll get unless something changes in the future.The manufacturer does sell a variety of sizes and colors on their site, however, the down side is they cost $30 more and don't offer free shipping.I am now the proud owner of a pinkie ring (oh god, I never thought those words would come out of my mouth).THE RING LOOKS NICE AND WORKS PERFECTLY.UPDATE: The manufacturer has changed the price of this item on it's website so that it is now more closely in line with Amazon's price. Also, I believe Amazon now stocks more than one size.
