I took these on one snowboarding trip and then followed that up with multiple days on rescue missions. Here's what you need to know about the bibs.The good:They are pretty tough. I am very surprised but in all we've been doing, I still haven't ripped them.They are very waterproof. I have totally soaked them and water does not penetrate.All the zippers and straps and stuff work like they should.The bad:These are not very warm. You will need to thermal up very well if you're heading into cold weather. Great for spring skiing but you will need layers underneath in Winter conditions. I ordered the xl as well and they were massive so I returned them.. He wore long underwear under them the first day, but just the bibs the next two days when it was full sun and in the 30’s temp wise. We skied at Deer Valley and Park City.
