A: dude! I was thinking the same thing.
except maybe using them to move giant metal wire screen.

so far Ive read some guy manage to move around 1 quarter of Moose.  a frikken moose!
then some other say the handles are a thin gauge wise but I doudt it would collapse in your hands 
i plan on widening the handles with a wood dowel.

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: I use these for deer processing with pulling the hide, meat, and any other areas where you would not want to expose a knife to my hands,....These are a quality product and you will not find a better set...

**Q: Are the handles hollow tubes or solid?**
A: Handles are hollow. The only welds on the hooks are on the outside, around the base of the hook shaft,  before it goes through the handle.
