I like the silicone lining of the handles and lid. It seems durable, relatively mess free, easy to fill and clean, and provides a nice brewing experience. It’s a fairly decent size - this could be a positive or negative depending on your expectations and use. Might require a slightly larger mug, but I imagine is ok for smaller cups - you just might have to have several smaller servings. So far so good.

A: Outside diameter of the basket, measured just under the rim but not including the rim flange, is 2.48 inches.  Depth of basket from outside basket bottom to the bottom of the rim is 2.70 inches.  Distance across rim wings is 5.40 inches.

**Q: Anyone experience it rusting? I received another brand as a gift and noticed there were small rust spots on the mesh & handle hinges**
A: NOT DISHWASHER SAFE! I’ve had this for about a year. I works great. I had been hand washing it and letting it air dry after every use without issue. Over time, it developed some mild staining from the tannins in the tea, so I decided to put it in the dishwasher. Bad idea. Even thought I took it out as soon as the cycle completed, it was covered with tiny rust spots. It was ruined, but I learned my lesson. Regardless, I like this enough that I’ll be buying it again.

**Q: Are there strainer holes in the flat bottom of this?**
A: Yes, there are holes in the "flat bottom." This is a nicely made/designed tea infuser; you'll like it.

Bigger then I thought, I specificity bought this for chamomile tea because you need to cover the mug to get the benefit’s so when I couldn’t cover the whole mug I was a bit bummed but it still covered enough to not be that big of a deal nothing I can’t fix with some tin foil and still is what I paid for and if you specifically want this to not sink completely in your mug this is for you absolutely 5 stars
