I was just slow to catch on. She claimed it as hers as soon as it was on the floor. Normally I have to spread a little catnip around to get her to warm up to new items, but this was immediately claimed as feline property.This is a little big for cats (and I have a big cat), but she really enjoys it, so no regrets. It would easily fit two medium cats who enjoy sleeping together. It's very sturdy, and the material seems dense and sturdy. I got this to give her a "home office" bed that isn't my lap or computer, and it has worked perfectly.
