I walk and a key thing for me is visibility either crossing streets or when icy sidewalks force me to walk in the street facing traffic. This time of year with short daylight is hardest and I walk with a light and as much high vis gear as the weather permits. I bought these gloves looking for high viz, with warmth and water proofing - which is hard to find and some of the advertised options don't work even high priced ones from brand name vendors. Thus far these are great. Fit is comfortable, although I took reviewer advice to go up a size. I live in New England with relatives in Minnesota and I've now used these in both locations in the teens and twenties and am quite satisfied with the warmth and comfort factor. Best feature is safety - high visibility, reflective. Walking on the road edge at night you can see on-coming traffic pick you up as they move over a lane or as much as they can - substantially in advance of you. Exactly what you want during the dark season to stay safe. Good for you and good for the motorists as well. I like the fact that they are advertised as waterproof also, but have no experience as yet. Wet gloves are a drag and take a long time to dry. If these adhere to their claim it is an added bonus. The price is nuts reasonable given the features IMHO. Would recommend, but up a size. Review: High Quality Visibility - I use these for commuting on a small motorcycle in city traffic. There are no products that are specific to motorcycling with this standard of visibility. While I would like the higher level of protection that a dedicated motorcycle glove offers, I know that the greatest threat to my safety is visibility, so these gloves are the best choice for my riding environment. If I was doing highway riding, I would absolutely want a higher standard of protection, but for my commute at less than 30mph, these bicycling / running gloves fit my needs well at a reasonable price. They are durable, easy to slip on with both an elastic cuff and a velcro cuff, they stay warm in moderate temperatures (the coldest I have used them for is ~40ºF), and don't get too hot in temperatures up to ~75ºF. They have good grip on the palms, but dexterity is limited due to their level of insulation. The reflective portions are very high quality for night visibility, and the yellow portions make a difference in daylight as well. Overall absolutely recommend for bicyclists and runners, and would also recommend for motorcyclists in limited (low speed) applications. ## Features - High Visibility Reflective Cycling Gloves - Be Seen, Stay Safe: Engineered with retroreflective panels on key motion zones (knuckles and wrists) to create a biomotion pattern that drivers instantly recognize. This science-backed visibility design helps make cyclists more noticeable at night and in low-light conditions, improving safety on every ride. - Waterproof Winter Gloves for Cycling and Running - Stay Dry and Protected: Built with a three-layer waterproof and windproof membrane, these gloves keep your hands warm, dry, and comfortable in rain, snow, or cold wind, perfect for commuters, cyclists, and runners braving winter weather. - Touchscreen Thermal Gloves - Use Your Phone Without Taking Cycling Gloves Off: Featuring capacitive touch fingertips on the thumb and index finger, these touchscreen-compatible cycling gloves let you use your smartphone, GPS, or cycling app without exposing your hands to the cold. - Insulated and Breathable Cold Weather Gloves - All-Day Comfort: The thermal fleece lining provides lasting warmth, while the breathable waterproof membrane allows airflow to prevent sweat buildup. Ideal for cycling, hiking, skiing, or walking in cold, wet, and windy conditions. - Secure Grip and Durable Design - Built for Year-Round Performance: With padded, anti-slip rubber grips, you’ll maintain full control even in wet conditions. The reinforced stitching and flexible fit make these reflective waterproof gloves reliable for everyday use from city commutes to trail rides. - High Reflective Gloves: Have you noticed some reflective is brighter than others? That's because not all reflective is created equal. We use aluminum sputter coated spherical reflective which reflects much more light back to the source. - Retro-Reflective Gloves: This means it sends light back near the source. Tiny spheres take in the light, where it bounces off the back of the sphere and sends it back to the source like a cat's eye. - Test with iPhone Flash: If you want to test what a driver might see, use your phone flash and record a video or picture from 10' away. - Fluorescent + Reflective Gloves for All-Day Visibility: 50% fluorescent fabric for daytime and 50% retroreflective material for nighttime means you're always seen. These dual-purpose high visibility gloves are great for jogging, cycling, or walking. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07FSBJ14Z | | Additional Features | Fluorescent, Reflective, Touch Screen Support | | Age Range (Description) | Adult | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #837,787 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ( See Top 100 in Clothing, Shoes & Jewelry ) #430 in Men's Cycling Gloves | | Brand | ReflecToes | | Brand Name | ReflecToes | | Closure Type | Pull On | | Color | Waterproof Breathable | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 157 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00723282207898 | | Glove Type | Waterproof | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Included Components | Gloves | | Manufacturer | ReflecToes | | Manufacturer Part Number | RT-G1M | | Material | Polyester | | Material Type | Polyester | | Model Number | RT-G1M | | Package Quantity | 1 | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Size | Medium | | Sport | Cycling | | Sport Type | Cycling | | Style Name | Modern | | UPC | 723282207898 | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** ReflecToes - **Color:** Waterproof Breathable - **Glove Type:** Waterproof - **Hand Orientation:** Ambidextrous - **Item Package Quantity:** 1 - **Material:** Polyester - **Size:** Medium - **Special Feature:** Fluorescent, Reflective, Touch Screen Support - **Sport:** Cycling ## Images ![ReflecToes Hi Vis Reflective Winter Gloves for Cycling, Running & Traffic - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61N9WqMFE+L.jpg) ![ReflecToes Hi Vis Reflective Winter Gloves for Cycling, Running & Traffic - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51gtoeN6M6L.jpg) ![ReflecToes Hi Vis Reflective Winter Gloves for Cycling, Running & Traffic - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61h7RHJ2sPL.jpg) ![ReflecToes Hi Vis Reflective Winter Gloves for Cycling, Running & Traffic - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61oRXcVaoFL.jpg) ![ReflecToes Hi Vis Reflective Winter Gloves for Cycling, Running & Traffic - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71B5XcX6P9L.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Glove Type, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: These trap sweat. Are they washable?** A: Yes these are washable. We recommend cold water with mild detergent on gentle cycle or by hand. Air dry them or low heat in a pillowcase in the dryer. You can flip them inside out (as best as you can) to help them dry faster. The waterproof/breathable membrane in the gloves lets moisture out, but not as fast as without the membrane (similar to Gore-Tex). Ben **Q: im a truck driver, Will these Reflectoes gloves still be really reflective if they get dirty? Thanks** A: I don't think these are tough enough for what you're looking for. These are not work gloves, I'd be surprised if they would hold up with even light abuse. To answer your question, unless they're completely covered in mud you'll still get reflectivity. **Q: how do i know my size for these gloves?** A: The key measurements are in the 5th image on the product page. Hope this helps! Ben ReflecToes **Q: Are the cycling gloves bulky. Are they good for driving and do they have griping capability on the palms? Thank you** A: See the video of our waterproof cycling gloves. They are more bulky than our lightweight running gloves or windproof cycling gloves. They would work fine for driving. No silicone grips on the palm, but not particularly slippery or grippy. Ben ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ You can tell when cars see these *by C***7 on January 12, 2019* These are working for me.
