Review: The best tyres! - Love these - the best tyres as far as I’m concerned. The last two bikes I have owned were supplied with Vittoria Corsa Pro, and I swapped to GP5000 (28mm) within a couple of weeks each time. These win hands down on all levels - particularly comfort, performance (speed, grip), and puncture-protection (it is so rare to get a puncture with these, whereas I had punctures almost immediately with the Vittoria tyres). I’ve never had any issue getting these on carbon rims as other reviewers have mentioned - I use a Crank Brothers speedier tyre lever which helps. Thoroughly recommend these.

**Q: What’s the difference between the style names Clincher and the GP5000 option?**
A: GP5000 are clinchers, GP5000 TL are tubeless, so the below answer is incorrect. This is a listing for GP5000 tyres.

**Q: are they shipped folded ?**
A: Yes.  They need some handling to get them warm and ready for putting on.

**Q: Is the 700 25c the same as 25-622?**
A: The 700 is the overall diameter of the tyre. The 622 is the bead diameter (the bit that sits on the rim) 
I’d stay away from these and stick to the more reliable 4 seasons tyre.

**Q: What size fits a 26” wheel?**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Feeble side walls

Bought these in 25mm last September to replace Schwalbe 23s to get a more comfortable ride. Big mistake, maybe they grip slightly better and are definitely lighter, but on crappy Scottish roads with loose chippings the feeble side wall has already ripped apart after less than 500 miles. If you’re going to ride in the UK I would suggest a more substantial tyre.
