## Description

J-BRAID x8 GRAND, the new Ultimate Braid in Daiwa’s J-Braid Family. Strong, and resistant to abrasion yet well-bodied enough to lay smoothly on the spool. J-Braid x8 GRAND line is a complete line up of high quality 8 carrier braid made of the finest materials from Japan. J-BRAID x8 GRAND is spun with Izanas, a state-of-the-art new material utilizing 8 Carriers. These 8 carriers are supple yet with Izanas they’re 4 times as abrasion resistant as a typically tougher 4 carrier.

Review: So smooth! - My go-to 10 lb braid for BFS and spinning Been running Daiwa J-Braid 10 lb on both my BFS baitcaster and spinning setup and I keep buying it. It’s thin, round, and quiet through the guides, which matters a lot when you’re throwing light stuff. Casts clean and I don’t get the wind-knot headaches I had with coarser 4-strand lines. Sensitivity is excellent. You feel the lure and the bottom without the line fighting you. Knots hold — Palomar and leader connections have been solid. Color has held up fine after a good amount of use; it fades some like every braid, but not as fast as cheaper stuff. Not a heavy-cover workhorse, and that’s not what 10 lb is for. For finesse, docks, open water, and light presentations it’s been exactly what I wanted. I’ll keep spooling this.
Review: Good stuff - I ran this braid on my Shimano NASCI 2500 for several months, and it's pretty durable (I fish in Hawaii around a lot of rocks and reef). Knot strength is great, it never once slipped on me, and casting was smooth. The light blue makes it easy to see which direction my line is if I'm soaking bait rather than actively retrieving (though it has faded slightly over the past several months). The only reason I respooled my reel was because I went to Japan and got multicolor JDM PE line other than that I'd recommend this J-braid.

Highly recommend this line I’ve only had to change my leader line and I’ve had this on my reel for 2 months no fray or anything
