But micro filters are metal and should last a very long time with proper cleaning. **Q: Are all the parts dishwasher safe?** A: Hi JC, Thanks for the questions. While our Ultralight is diswasher safe on the top rack, we recommend that you handwash your press to preserve the condition, especially the paint. The filters, also will wear and tear more quickly if placed in a dishwasher. Thanks, **Q: Does this have a reusable filter, or is it paper disposable filters?** A: Hi John, Thanks for your question. ESPRO's Ultralight comes with our reusable double microfilter for coffee. Paper filters are available for purchase separately to use in conjunction with the existing microfilters, in case you prefer the mouthfeel of a paper filtered coffee.
