Review: Excellent strategy game - Well made. Each game takes ~20 mins. Having played the original 4 player version many times, this is a perfect variation when you don't have many friends. It's usually a close game since it's more difficult to fully block opponents out of areas than in the multiplayer version. The board, and hence the box, is quite small so doesn't take up much shelf space.
Review: It was in German - The game arrived in German, with German instructions. The picture shows it as being in English but unless you can read German, I don't recommend buying this.

**Q: what's the difference of this vs playing with 2 colors on the 4 player blockus? are there different shaped pieces?**
A: There are more pieces, and you start at a different point on the board. Two person on this is a lot more fun than playing as two on the four person board.

**Q: Duo is really better than 2 on a four board?**
A: With the four board and two players, you have to play two colors and while it's not bad, I prefer the duo where you each get a color and done!

**Q: How much smaller is Blokus Duo from the regular Blokus, & how many pieces does each have, please?**
A: 14 across instead of 20 but same number of pieces per color

**Q: is this like Tetris?**
A: No it is more like a puzzle where you try and block your opponent from discarding his/her pieces and try and discard all of your pieces.  Our family likes this game.  It is fun and fast paced.

If you have played blockus before with the four person way this is exactly the same. Only two people. It is a great evening game for my husband and I would recommend for a couple looking for an easy game.
