Then screw into radiator, there is usually a square or Hex hole that a allen key (buy separately) goes in to assist with this. Tighten till a reasonable amount of friction is felt, do not untighten or you will need to reapply the tape. The parts that go onto the pipe. Make sure they go into to radiator valve straight and the Brass/copper olive (ring) sits over the pipe. You can also put some ptf tape over the olive and pipe .
