This hasn’t happened to me before with any other lapis lazuli beads. The blue paint also colored my fingers as I tried to put together a bracelet. Real lapis lazuli is expensive. I didn't get much for2 orders but I was pleased. I ordered them 10 months ago. Today I took them out to use in a project. I had a little bit of isopropyl alcohol on my finger and was very shocked that it took the blue color off of the bead! So I soaked all the beads in alcohol for just a moment then rinsed them well. They aren't as shiny as they were but they look more natural. I'm not even sure if these beads are real lapis lazuli. The description didn't say that these beads would be painted. I like them better without the blue gloss paint.
