Yes magnetic, yes sprinkle and pour options, but the top twists poorly. so very little. Lasts 1 month if you cook a few times a week. I've been on the road internationally with no home base for 12 yrs. No home base means I have no closet or kitchen in which to stash my stuff. Instead I have 7 suitcases that get swapped out throughout the year. So I've needed travel friendly items including cooking spices. These are fine for that. If you know you like French onion flavors, grab the ingredient list and combine the individual spices into a mega mix. This is a very small container and the container itself is a fight. Sea Salt, Onion, Sugar, Dill Tips, Chives, Garlic, Basil, Chervil, Tarragon, White Pepper, Parsley.
