Little did I know that it had already been done,and quite well,too.I can't tell you how many times I've searched the "performing Arts" section of bookstores hoping to find such a book.This book was first published in 1981,so it covers the years through the 1970s.Just perfect for the years that interest me.It's very comprehensive in it's research.In fact,the only cartoon I've Noticed missing from my era is The Hardy Boys from 1970. I wonder why. I'm giving the book 4 stars as I believe it could include the broadcst dates of the Saturday cartoons an a few more facts or trivia would have been neat,but otherwise,It's a great book that's sure to bring back great memories and trigger some "Oh-wow,I totally forgot about that one!"-moment. Like when I saw the listing for Fearless Fly. What a fun book.I'm so glad I finally found it.
