To completely fluff them, I had to dampen the leaves just a tad with a wet cloth. Then flattened them as I blow dried it. Took some time but well worth it. Also had to cut the stems as they were too long for my vase. This was easy enough except for the metal running through them. I had to bend that back and forth before it gave.
