I also like that the casing is made of natural wood (didn't want too much metal in my bedroom where this is placed). This one also fit the bill for something that's light and easy to travel with. Only minus is that it's not glow in the dark but you just need to press the button for a small bulb (at 11 O'clock position) to lighten up the clock-face to see the time. One of the 4 didn't work out of the box, but it's a pretty simple thing and we were able to take it apart and fix it. They have all worked well since then. We ordered the last 2 after that experience, so it didn't dissuade us.
