As such, we do not advocate restricting fat like the Duakn Diet may promote. Many of our bodies vital processes such as hormonal responses require fat. There are also fat-soluble vitamins (A,D, E, K etc.) that require the presence of good fats in our diet. We are not overly familiar with the Dukan diet however it appears it restricts the use of fats and oils.
