The large saucepan is 7" on bottom. The skillet is 8" on bottom and the large pot is 8 3/4" on bottom. **Q: Where is it manufactured?** A: I called Conair who owns the Cuisanart brand, according to their representative, all of their cookware is made in China. **Q: can these be used on glass top stove** A: I don't see why not. Can't most pots be used on glass? I hada glass top in my old house and I used magnolite which were really heavyand it worked w/ nary a scratch. **Q: Are these PFOA Free?** A: I'm sure they are. There is no coating so far as I know: the pans are simply highly-polished stainless. You do have to use a little oil to avoid sticking, and you have to use a little effort to clean the pan after frying. You do not, however, have to pamper the pans or use special temperatures or utensils to protect the nonstick finish, just toss them in the dishwasher. Occasionally you will need to use a stainless pad to clean the inside of a pan, but they are basically trouble-free.
