I used to mark pickle ball courts, I would leave slack in the tape when laying it down which helped with the temperatures. The rain, if hard enough, would sometimes lift the tape **Q: Will this stick to fabric (cotton blend)? I need a vinyl tape to make props for a baton group.** A: I believe that it should stick very well as long as you are not looking for a long time stick. It stays on the floor for a very long time even after being played over. We used it for marking out pickleball courts on a gym floor and it adheres very well to the floor. **Q: Would this work on a turf field? Looking to mark soccer field boxes** A: No. As stated in the description it is tape. A vinyl strip available in a variety of sizes and colors One side is very sticky. Like tape is. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ works *by J***C on February 11, 2026* works, does not destroy paint by peeling the paint off upon removal, does not leave residue after removal, easy to work with, durable not too sticky not too messy not too flimsy stretchy note: shrinks after application (ends will come off if not secured) ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product *by B***Y on October 13, 2025* As described, great adhesion, easy to roll out, good stretchability ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for household marking on hardwood floors *by A***Z on February 10, 2022* My father-in-law is staying with us and has some trouble with his eyesight. My wife was concerned that he could fall down the (hardwood) stairs in the morning due to low visibility, so she put some random tape on the floor to mark the bottom of the steps. The tape turned out to be mounting tape for picture frames and was absolutely terrible to remove from the floor. After that, I started looking for a tape meant for floors that wouldn't damage hardwood, and this fit perfectly. (Basketball courts! Why didn't I think of that before!) The yellow color has decent visibility (though something reflective might be better). But better is the fact that it is easy to put down and to take off again. The adhesion is great so far -- it's been a couple months with no sign of peeling, sliding, or tearing. The backing is rubbery, so I'm pretty confident that when it does eventually fail I'll be able to peel it off easily and replace it. I only needed to use about six feet to mark both the top and bottom of the stairs, so the roll will last a long time. And it's pretty inexpensive compared to some other specialty floor tapes I've seen on here. So, I know I have kind of an unusual use case, but this tape has worked really well so far. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.us/products/87122142-champion-sports-vinyl-tape-1-wide-x-60-yards-long](https://www.desertcart.us/products/87122142-champion-sports-vinyl-tape-1-wide-x-60-yards-long) --- *Product available on Desertcart United States of America* *Store origin: US* *Last updated: 2026-10-08*
