It is nice and healthy looking with baby dark green leaves and even a beginning of new growth on top. The packaging is great they tape over and around the soil some wet paper towels and the tape holds the moisture in for the trip. They also tape the small pot to the sides of the box so there's no movements inside the box during shipping so very durable setup to make a 10 to 14 day trip. This is my second orde rof this tree from them, I killed the first accidentally after 7 months. I just wish these were a little bit thicker or older it is only as thick as the lead of a colored pencil and both I've received were that thickness.. Biggest thing is I ordered at end of November and it arrived early December in Minnesota where its already been freezing temps and snow and it survived the trip easy.
