I use several different fragrances from this company and I love every one of them. This has been my go-to bar soap for years. Yes it's expensive but the bar lasts me weeks and smells wonderful. Unlike some of the other brands to have great marketing, the scent of these bars actually sticks with you for a while after you get out of the shower. You can smell it lingering on your skin for hours. Yes, spending 15 bucks on a bar of soap is beyond luxury; it's kind of pretentious. But with Mistral, things are different. The bar is big, as big as Arnold S.'s hand. You're going to get 2.5-3 weeks of daily soaping with one bar. And it doesn't crack or shred; it remains whole. The smell of Cypress, specifically, is phenomenal. It's woody, oceanic, and classic soapy. But what's so wonderful about all the Mistral soaps, is that is sticks with you. I left the shower, and could smell the soap on my arms 1 hour afterward. It wasn't obnoxious, Axe-type cologne smell, but a classy, luxurious, manly soap smelling. I didn't have to put on cologne after the shower, but could revel in this pure, baseline scent. I would highly recommend that you purchase not just Mistral soaps (plural scents), but their aftershaves and shave creams. I have limes, and it's unbelievable. Mistral is quality, and you get what you pay for here guys. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smells great, long lasting, but drying *by on Reviewed in the United States June 18, 2022* Here I am again with another review of a men’s product. Ummm what can I say? If you’re use to quality soaps this will not “wow” you. It’s good though, and if you’re a first timer just moving away from typical mainstream soap it’ll be good to try. The scent is nice and gentlemanly, the sandalwood could have been more prominent but it’s not bad. It lasts for about an hour or so on skin after you get out of the shower. It has a decent foamy lather (with a washcloth) and makes for an enjoyable shower experience. It lacks in the moisturizing department however. It left my skin moderately dry. It could possibly be because I’m a woman and my skin is a bit more sensitive than the targeted male demographic, but be aware even as a guy that it may leave your skin dry. It’s a well made triple milled soap, so it lasts a long time even with multiple daily showers. The price tag is a bit high, but that’s to be expected as you move into “higher-end” brands. It’s worth the try. I won’t be a subscriber and wouldn’t purchase another, but I recommend at least trying this soap once.
