But arrived completely crushed, initially disappointed. No time to return and exchange for another since leaving for out-of-town trip and wanted to take hat with me. So I followed the instructions from Vera and got the crown wet and stuffed a large towel into the crown to completely fill the round shape and let it sit for a couple days (warm weather, didn't take too long). Worked beautifully, no longer crushed. But since brim was also bent and folded, I then used a steam iron and a damp press cloth and lightly steamed the brim flat. Again, worked beautifully, and now the hat is in perfect wearing condition. My husbands head is small compared to the general population but the hat was made with an adjuster inside the hat so he was able to get a perfect fit. It will meet his needs for a play we are in but he will also get to wear the hat for other occasions bc it is a very nice hat. I think he looks great with it. The quality material is very good quality. Better than I expected. Will buy again from this seller.
