## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will it hold a jumbo bullystick?**
A: No do not purchase as it doess not hold the chewy in place so dog gets it out so your dog could easily choke....i returned mine

**Q: What is the size of the screw?**
A: I feel pretty confident the screw inside is a M18 thread (3/4" was too big, M16 was too small). And in regards to the length, there is 20mm of threading, and a 10mm point.

**Q: Is this for large chews only?**
A: Yes the blue one is pretty wide and the screw will only screw in so far before it falls out. There are really only a handful of chews that my dog chews that are thick enough to go in this one. If you want one to fit a smaller chew, the purple one is smaller and considered size medium.

**Q: What size is the opening?**
A: The large size is 1 1/2 inches x 2. WITH An Adjustable screw to tighten dog chew inside. Not sure if the small Bone Head has the same size opening.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works great for yak chew, not bully sticks

I have a frenchie who tries to swallow his chews, so I got these to prevent that issue. So far it works great to hold Yak chews. I was also hoping to use these for bully sticks, but the screw does not go all the way to the other side, so it does not work for most bully sticks (which seem to be getting thinner every year). If you can find super thick bully sticks, it will probably work. I will say make sure not to turn the screw too tight because the head of the screw is plastic, and i can see this breaking over time if your not careful. It also helps hold the chew better in his paws, and my corgi also seems to prefer her chews in these because its hard for her to hold them on her own with her short little legs.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great gadget! Dog LOVES it!!

When our dog was a growing puppy, but got her "license to chew," she used to want me to hold the other end of her chews. While I found it sweet, it was also slimy and interrupted my day, lol. So I went hunting and came across Bonehead. I love it, she loves it. Sure, she tested out the material it's made from and left a number of teeth marks on it, probably even ate a few bits, but she's fine, dogs lol. After she figured out how to hold it with the chew in a good position, she was mowing through yak chews with the best of them. I also discovered, quite accidentally, that a large nail clipper end (the part you twirl to use the clipper. see photo) turns the Bonehead screw really well and the metal is soft edged unlike a screwdriver, so it doesn't damage the holder! I had read people had problems with the screw when I ordered it 7 months ago. I also don't try to like ratchet down the screw, just turn it until the chew is secured. She's never pulled the chew out of the holder. I have also found that in addition to Himalayan Yak Chews, they hold all sorts of stuff, like small Purina Prime Bones (as pictured), 6"/12" bully sticks, etc. So yeah, a really great product!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Safe way to give chews

Great for giving your dogs bones or any chew treats. This only thing I didn’t like about it was the screw that closed on the chew. If your dogs are super chewers, like mine, they will chew where the screw tightens and now I can’t unscrew it all the way to fit larger bones in it. Other than that it’s a great way to give chews and not worry about them swallowing the small pieces.
