Seventy years old and flown box kites since I was twelve, even built my own. You can't find these in stores anymore. Found this one and wanted to show my grandkids how to fly a box kite. It is very good quality but it will take a good stiff breeze to get it up and flying. Somewhat heavier than box kites of the past. In my youth box kites were so light you could just sit them on the ground in a light breeze and off it went. This one takes a good strong wind and a little effort. It's nice that it's easy to assemble and disassemble, even comes with a nice little storage bag for the off seasons.
